Zine Workshop! What!

Tuesday June 23 to be exact, 6-9pm at careerwrox (23 Main Street East) there will be some talking a bunch at the beginning to get things going. some zine history and a little info on zine culture, then the fun begins. Supplies will be supplied and photocopier will be available..
oh fuck yeah there will be!
everyone will set to work to create a mini zine about a topic of yer choosing, there will be a type writer , computers ,glue, tape, markers, ink, paper, clip art, magazines for you steal from, and a veteran zinester to pick the brain of.bring yer ideas and put yer fun pants on.!!

I have picked up a few supper rad titles for all to read, including Lickity Split number 7

oh yeah!

The library has now taken over two shelves at the sky dragon and is growing everyday.

i will be doing around of zine workshops soon, may be I'll see you at one!

attended Sheridan's first annual gettazine small press fair, i got a butt load of donations haven't had a chance to catalog them or even read them yet, but it looks like there are a lot of cool art zines!

also got a chance to visit the sheridan zine library... she is young but is turning many on the world of zines.

and i got to chat with a few librarians from the Toronto zine library, i'll be visiting them soon!

some real good stuff out there but don't let it stop you from using snail mail to communicate with zinesters and distros, i have never met a zinester that didn't like mail!
